Accepting the Amicus Lending Terms of Use
By visiting our site or submitting an amicus lending request, you agree to these terms of use. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the site or the request form.
These terms form a binding agreement between you and the company that operates the site, referred to here as "we," "us" or "our service." They work together with our privacy policy, which explains how your information is collected and shared. If these terms and a lender's loan agreement ever conflict about your loan, the lender's agreement controls the loan.
Who May Use the Site
You may use the site and submit a request only if you are at least 18 years old, a legal U.S. resident, and able to enter a binding contract. You must submit requests only for yourself, never for another person.
Lenders in the network set their own eligibility rules, which often include a minimum income, an active bank account and residency in a state they serve. Meeting our site requirements does not mean any lender will consider your request. You agree not to use the site for any unlawful purpose, to submit automated or bulk requests, or to interfere with the site's security or operation.
Our Role as a Connector
Our service is a free connector, not a lender, broker or agent of any lender. We share the request you submit with lenders and partners in a third-party network that may choose to make you an offer.
We do not make credit decisions, set APRs or fees, issue loans, service loans or collect payments. Any offer you receive comes from a lender, and any loan you accept is between you and that lender alone. We are paid by lenders and partners, not by you, as described in our advertiser disclosure.
No Promise of Offers or Approval
Submitting a request does not ensure that you will be matched with a lender, receive an offer, or be approved for any amount, APR or term. Lenders may decline any request for any lawful reason.
Loan amounts through the network range from $500 to $5,000, and estimated APRs run from about 6% to 35.99%. These ranges are estimates only. Funding timing, often as soon as the next business day after approval and verification, is set by the lender and is not promised by us. Rates, terms and availability depend on the lender, your credit, your income and your state.
Accuracy of the Information You Provide
You agree that everything you enter on the request form is true, complete and current, and that you will not use another person's identity or details. Inaccurate information can lead to a declined request or a canceled loan.
Providing false information to obtain credit may violate federal and state law. Lenders may verify your identity, income, employment and bank account, and they may share fraud concerns with verification services. If your details change before a loan is funded, tell the lender directly.
Consent to Be Contacted
By submitting a request, you agree that we and lenders and partners in the network may contact you at the phone number and email you provide, including by automated calls, prerecorded messages and text messages, about your request and related products.
This consent is designed to meet the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and similar state laws. Here is what it means in practice:
- Calls and texts may be sent with automated dialing technology, even if your number is on a do-not-call list
- Consent is not a condition of receiving a loan or using any lender's services
- Message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply
- Message frequency varies based on your request and any offers you receive
- You can reply STOP to any text message to stop texts, or reply HELP for help
- You can withdraw consent for calls from us at any time by emailing [email protected] or calling (888) 583-5714
Withdrawing consent with us does not withdraw it with lenders or partners that already received your request. Contact them directly to stop their calls or texts.
Third-Party Lenders and Their Own Terms
Each lender and partner in the network operates under its own loan agreement, terms of use and privacy policy. When you leave our site or accept an offer, those third-party terms govern your relationship with that company.
We do not control and are not responsible for the products, decisions, disclosures, conduct or websites of lenders and partners. Read every loan agreement carefully before signing, including the APR, fees, payment schedule, late-payment terms and any renewal provisions. Questions about a funded loan, such as payoff amounts or payment dates, must go to the lender.
Intellectual Property
The site's text, guides, calculators, graphics, logos, layout and code belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal, noncommercial use.
You may not copy, republish, scrape, sell or create derivative works from site content without our written permission. Any feedback you send us may be used to improve the service without any obligation to you.
Disclaimers
The site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Our guides, rate estimates and payment examples are for general education only and are not financial, legal or tax advice. Figures such as the representative example of $2,500 over 18 months at 22.99% APR, about $165.52 a month, are estimates that may not match any offer you receive. We do not promise that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful code.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, the request form, or any lender's products or decisions.
Our total liability for any claim related to the site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars. Some states do not allow certain limits on liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the site or your violation of these terms.
Governing Law and Disputes
The laws of the State of South Dakota govern these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, along with applicable federal law. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in South Dakota.
Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us first and give us 30 days to try to resolve the issue informally. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under laws that cannot be waived by contract.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms at any time by posting an updated version on this page with a new effective date. Changes apply from that date forward and do not affect requests submitted earlier.
Continuing to use the site after changes are posted means you accept the revised terms. If you do not agree with a change, stop using the site.

Questions about these terms can go to [email protected], (888) 583-5714 on weekdays, or 1077 Summit Drive, Suite 298, Pierre, SD 57501. More options are listed on our contact page.
